Best MLM Marketing Methods

Marketing is one of the most important parts of your home-based business, if not the most important part. Without successful marketing, your company will go unnoticed. Our company does almost 100% of our marketing on the internet. We’ve found the internet to be the fastest and most effective way to market our home-based business.

If you were to become involved in our company you would have access to our years and years of experience, knowledge and marketing secrets. We have more tools, tips, and resources than almost anyone in network marketing.

However, if you do not choose to be a part of our home-based business for whatever reason, here are a few marketing strategies that you can use to market whatever business you choose to become a part of. Think of it as a free gift from us to you!

1. A Great Looking Website – If you are an independent entrepreneur in Any field, you NEED a great looking website. It’s the computer age. Businesses that don’t have a website are losing a ton of business.

Along with the fact that you just plain need a website, it is also important that you make sure your website looks really, really good. People are going to judge you based on what your website looks like. If it looks cheap or unprofessional people are not going to be interested in what you have to offer.

2. E-mail Marketing – Like we said before, this is a computer age and regardless of how much a person knows about the internet almost everyone at least has an email address.

Email is faster than regular mail and it’s FREE and that’s what makes this form of marketing so great! You can use email marketing to get in touch with people who you think might be interested in what you have to offer as well as keep in touch with people who have ALREADY expressed interest.

Another reason why email marketing is so great is because you have the ability to send out mass emails, reaching hundreds and even thousands of people at one time with just one click of the mouse!

3. Article Marketing – This is a great way to boost your credibility and show your expertise on the product or service you offer. You simply submit informative articles to article marketing databases and the customers come to you. When you place your article in the database and a potential customer searches for a relevant topic, your article will pop up. For example, let’s say your home business is a freelance writing service. You would do articles based on that subject, such as “How to Hire the Best Writer.” After submitting them, let’s say a potential customer does a Google search for ‘writer.’ If you have optimized your article correctly it will show. The more page views you get, the more likely the article is to pop up.

This really builds your credibility and gets your name out there to potential customers. They are then able to read your article and get tips and ideas. At the bottom of the article, there is a bio that contains a link that the individual can click on to learn more about you and your business. This is a great way of getting clients and generating traffic to your website.

4. Blogs – “Blog” is short for Web-Log. A blog is simply an online journal. People have blogs for all types of things. It can be as private as a diary or you can use it to talk about your product or service. It is also a great way to find people who would like to work from home as well. Simply update your blog every few days and as new people find it you will have more and more people who are aware of your business.

Blogs are also great because they get added into the search engines very quickly. This helps the people who are searching for what you have find you faster!

5. Forums – These are great for advertising and gaining more customers. Simply by testimonies about your business and letting people know what you have to offer. This will also create interest in prospects and help brand YOU. In fact, I know of a great freelance web designer that has a website and also works from several bidding sites. She joined a great entrepreneurial forum and has gotten most of her customers from there. This includes her returning customers, and they have all been very professional, great people to work with. She greatly values this forum and places it high on her resource list.

6. Word of Mouth – This one is so simple and yet many times very, very overlooked. Think of it this way. If you ate at a great restaurant or saw a great movie you’d tell your friends about it right? Of course you would!

That’s why it’s so funny when people refuse to tell their friends and family about their home-based business. We would never suggest hounding your friends and family to buy something they don’t want to buy to the point that they won’t take your phone calls anymore. Just simply let them know what you’re doing and ask them if they could pass it on to a few of their other friends and family. It really is as easy as that.

7. Facebook and other Social Networking – Facebook is one of the most popular websites on the internet and contrary to popular belief… IT’S NOT JUST FOR KIDS. Many, many, MANY entrepreneurs have begun to use a variety of social networking sites (i.e., Facebook) to brand themselves and even their products or services which they offer. Facebook is extremely user friendly even so that people can set up a decently appealing profile in under an hour!

8. Social Bookmarking – Most people know how to bookmark something on their computer. You go to a website that you like and to prevent yourself from forgetting about it you hit “bookmark” that way the next time you’re looking for that website it’s right there and easy to find.

Social bookmarking is just like that only… SOCIAL. Instead of bookmarking the sites and then keeping them to yourself you can go onto a website like Digg.com, or StumbleUpon.com and bookmark it for everyone to find!

When someone is looking for something that you offer they will be able to find it on a social bookmarking site after you’ve book marked it. By bookmarking all of your websites that pertain to your business you are giving people yet another way that they can find you on the internet!

9. Free Classifieds – Just like an ad you can place in the newspaper, free classifieds give a short description of what you have to offer and the people that are interested will seek you out! Websites like Craigslist.com and Backpage.com get a ton of traffic every single day and are 100% free to use!

10. Video Marketing – Video marketing is getting bigger and bigger! Websites like YouTube.com are so popular because they are free and they allow you to promote yourself any way that you like. In this fast paced world a lot of people would rather watch a video of you than read a bunch of text on a website. Video marketing can be very inexpensive and it is highly effective. Many people on our team use video marketing every day and see results right away!

How to Increase your MLM Retention Rate.

There are few things you should have in place in order to increase your retention rate in your network marketing company.

1. Mentorship

Your team has to feel that, if they were to put in the effort and sweat of sponsoring people into the company, will you be there to help every step of the way. They should be able be sure they are Not alone and that they can reach you or anyone else in the company Anytime.

2. Ability to Break Even

You ask, “What does ‘break evening’ mean?” This network marketing term means that you will be able to make enough commission to pay for your autoship, autodelivery or minimum purchase monthly. You and every distributor should have that ability within the company in order to give your team the incentive to continue sponsoring.

3. Giving Them Something to Lose.

Have you ever resigned from an MLM company only to find that, months after your resignation, one of your current distributors never lost hope like you, continued to work hard, an achieved one of the highest levels of compensation plan? Your role as a sponsor is to give your clients something to lose. Meaning, help them consistently sponsor clients so that, if they were to leave, they would be aware the there is a highly probability they would be losing a gold mine.

4. Help Acquire the First Paycheck.

I have yet to find a strong MLM organization in which even the newest network marketer whose only sponsored 1 person has not yet acquired even one commission check. The first paycheck (considering you haven’t bought yourself into a position) is evidence that, whatever hard work has been invested in the sponsoring process, WORKS–the first paycheck is proof.

5. Providing Community

Team conference calls, training seminars/webinars, group meetings, any kind of tools in which your team members can plug themselves into after joining you is Crucial use ASAP. Don’t wait for the next “big company event.” Plug them in now. The sense of community is vital to your team members belief in themselves and the company as a whole. The longer you wait, the faster your team members lose interest in Everything.

I am not surprised to witness most of these ingredients missing in MLM organizations around the world. Sadly, very few distributors get a chance to experience these 5 ingredients of MLM Retention fews weeks after joining and putting in the time and effort of sponsoring. Hopefully, you’ll taken advantage of this information and use it to your and your teams’ advantage.

I Appreciate You,

Raquel Joya
